Offroad trail runs
Leave the pavement behind for a day built around the trail, the people in the vehicles, and the camaraderie that happens when everyone is moving toward the same destination. Operation Adventure brings Veterans and Active Duty Servicemembers together with experienced volunteers for guided offroad trips where the experience matters more than the obstacle.
Routes are scouted and rated in advance for the group's experience level, and Veterans and Active Duty Servicemembers of any offroad experience level are welcome.
Your Place In The Line
Operation Adventure welcomes Veterans and Active Duty Servicemembers across experience levels. Tell us what kind of day you are looking for, and the Hero Offroad team will help connect you with an upcoming trip that fits.
More Than A Trail Ride
Operation Adventure grew from a simple idea that has been part of Hero Offroad from the beginning: give Veterans and Active Duty Servicemembers a reason to get outside, share an experience with people who understand the culture of service, and come home with a new crew to call.
Over the years that mission has taken many forms, from Veteran-focused offroad weekends and opportunities to take part in offroad events to family trips built around time together away from the everyday routine. The terrain changes. The purpose does not.
A Legacy In The Offroad Community
Events such as Patriot Crawl helped connect Hero Offroad with a larger community of Veterans, Active Duty Servicemembers, volunteers, and offroad enthusiasts. Hero Offroad was also the nonprofit mission supported by the first BFGoodrich Trail America event presented by TREKWERX, a multi-day journey through Utah that linked the Mighty Five National Parks by back roads, trails, and dirt whenever possible.
Those experiences helped shape what Operation Adventure is today: capable vehicles, experienced people, remarkable places, and enough time together for the day to become more than the miles traveled.
